Vince and Allie were a pleasure to work with. From day one they were always available to answer our questions and even came to our house more than once to go over everything before they started. We hired Independent Construction to reside our house (thanks to the stinking woodpeckers that were destroying our cedar siding 😩) we also added stone and vinyl shakes. Vince was super quick to respond and remediate after my roof was damaged by a storm. He helped me navigate the very slow insurance maze. In addition to that repair, he also fixed a porch roof repair botched by another roofer and installed a new roof over another section. Had them come out after my deck had been damaged from a storm. They could of taken me for a good amount instead Vince said “I can just fix this.” Where other contractors had come out and the number was in the thousands. They showed up the next day were here for 2 hours minimal bill and it looks like new. Great company.
We had storm damage to our roof and siding. We called Independent Construction because we had seen their work on several of our neighbors’ houses.We decided to replace our roof, siding and all the windows and Vince was very knowledgeable on how we could achieve this.The work was scheduled so that everything went smoothly. The quality and workmanship was excellent and at a reasonable cost.We are happy with the final outcome and the new look of our house.
We called at least 10 different contractors and structural engineers to help with an exterior wall that was bowing outwards. It was a BIG job that nobody else wanted to touch, even though we understood some diagnostic work would be required before discovering the full problem. But we felt unsafe, knowing that we had a serious structural issue on our hands.Vince and his crew came out super fast to take a look. They set appropriate expectations and started. As it turns out, our house was held together by toothpicks 😂😫 the entire wall had to be reinforced to be made up to code. We also had no collar ties in our ceiling, so the ceiling also had to be dismantled and collar ties installed.Vince’s crew worked diligently to get this huge job done as quickly as possible. It took a total of 9 days - and they explained what issues were found immediately upon discovery and made sure we were okay with the scope of work being done.Now we have a newly reinforced wall and ceiling that look great (hey, no more popcorn ceiling!) AND the added benefit of not worrying about our house collapsing on our heads 😂THANK YOU VINCE AND ALLIE AND CREW for all of your help! Would definitely recommend these guys!!
