I have extensive experience in construction. In my lifetime, I have built a boathouse at Harvey’s Lake, a marital home, an office building, renovated a rental property, and completely renovated a 1929 3-story Brick Home in Kingston. My life would have been much easier if I knew about Independent Construction before this past month. A referral from a friend directed to this company when I needed to do the final large renovation in Kingston…the Roof. There were some other gutter, winter ice at a downspout, etc issues that I was able to discuss with the Boss and knowledgeable doesn’t begin to describe his ability. He remains professional, honest, does not attempt to add to the project for his own benefit (he actually even tried to dissuade me from some things that he thought weren’t necessary-that was a totally new experience with a contractor for me and I’ve worked with a lot of them.) The crews arrive when stated. Clean up daily. Ask you if they are unsure of anything regarding the project and are respectful, polite, and a pleasure to have at your home. I signed a contract on May 16, 2019 and my work was completed by June 24, 2019. Remember, we had at least 1 week of rain during that time. By far the best, the most organized, the most stress free project I have ever experienced. For anyone who sees an unfavorable comment about this company, contact me. I’ll be using them again very shortly that is how pleased I am.
