What is the best material for a flat roof?
There are two types of arrangement of single-ply roofing components: warm deck and inverted warm deck. This means that there aremany combinations of system types and how they are attached to suit specific design conditions.
The different membrane types available for single-ply roofing are:
- Chlorinated Polyethylene: Made from chlorination that is heat welded or solvent welded and is congruent with bitumen.
- Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer: A material that is naturally flexible is made stable with added carbon black and is joined with tape bonding and a special primer. It can be joined with other types of adhesives and is harmonious with bitumen.
